The following are the terms and conditions you must agree to in order to use this site both as a member and a visitor. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions please do no use this site

1. Definitions:

1.1 Visitors to cocunderground.com and its subsequent pages, whether registered members or unregistered visitors will be referred to as the "user," "users," or "you." www.cocunderground.com and its subsequent pages will be referred to as "the site" or "website."

1.2 We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time without notice to the user to the extent permitted by law. It is your responsibility to be aware of the current terms and conditions.

2. Content

2.1 The content of this website is for your general use only. All content submitted to the site, including messages, forum posts, textbook listings, and all other submitted content becomes the property of COC Underground. COC Underground reserves the right to modify and/or delete content submitted by all users at its own discretion.

2.2 Users may not post any content or information to the site that the user does not have the right to distribute. This includes copyrighted content that the user does not own.

2.3 Users may not submit any illegal content to the site. This includes links to sites that describe illegal activities, or provide instructions for committing illegal acts.

2.4 Users may not post any content deemed to be irrelevant by COC Underground. This includes, but is not limited to, pornographic content, spam, advertisements for any product or service, whether free or not, or any advertisements for textbooks not posted through the classifieds section under "Textbooks."

3. Accuracy of Content

3.1 COC Underground makes no guarantee to the accuracy or timeliness of any content submitted by either site users or administrative personnel. Users agree to make no action based on information presented in the site without verifying it with the author of the content.

3.2 COC Underground takes no responsibility for any liabilities caused by information posted to the site, whether accurate or inaccurate.

3.3 Many news articles are collected directly from the College of the Canyon's website (www.canyons.edu). This content is republished by permission of the college and is not owned by COC Underground.

4. COC Underground's Liability

4.1 COC Underground is not responsible for any harm or damages caused to users of the site through other users or administrative personnel.

4.2 Users are not permitted in engaging in any activity through the site that is deemed harmful in any way. This includes, but is not limited to, harassment, hate speech, falsely representing information on the site with the intent to harm, or using the site to meet other users with the intent to harm.

4.2.1 COC Underground reserves the right, but not the obligation, to moderate any disputes between the users of the site that are the result of the use of the site.

4.3 You agree that any damages that result from the use of this sites services, whether caused by the site or other users, is the responsibility of the user who directly caused the damages, and that you will not hold COC Underground responsible in any way for the damages incurred.

4.3.1 This term will apply whether or not the damages were incurred through a breach of these terms by other users or not

5. User Privacy

5.1 Users agree to have their information protected as defined in the site's Privacy Policy.

5.2 User's agree that the protection offered in the Privacy Policy is the extent of the protection granted by COC Underground, and that any further protection is the responsibility of the individual user to protect.

6. Classifieds

6.1 Users may post ads to the classifieds section provided:
6.1.1 The ad is relevent and belongs in that section.
6.1.2 The ad is offering something the user has the ability to provide, should another user want what the ad represents.
6.1.3 The user exchanges a credit for the ad being posted (see section 6.2 for credits).

6.2 The user agrees that he or she must have a credit available to post to the classifieds section.
6.2.1 Credits are exchanged for ads as follows: 1 ad per 1 credit.
6.2.2 Additional credits may be purchased from COC Underground.
6.2.3 Credits do not expire except when a user account is deleted for inactivity.

6.3 Ads will expire after 120 - 180 days from the date of posting.

7. User Accounts

7.1 Users may create accounts at COC Underground with the following conditions:
7.1.1 Users may only have one account.
7.1.2 Users must have their account linked to an active email address.
7.1.3 Users must belong to the College of the Canyons either as students, legal guardians of students, or official staff of the school.

7.2 User accounts will expire after 1 year of inactivity, or if COC Underground determines a particular account to be abandoned or compromised, or if any of the terms and contitions are breached by the user of the account.

By continusing the use of this site, you agree to be held by the terms and conditions set forth in the terms and conditions.

If COC Underground determines that you have breached the terms and conditions, they may suspend or delete your account without warning and with no compensation for any ads or credits remaining.
